"When I designed this trip, I wanted to recreate the sense of discovery you might experience on a safari. You will experience the haunting power the Hawaiians feel the island of Lanai possesses. Together, we will share the wild beauty that comes with the remoteness of such a journey. Take a chance, let your imagination roam, and indulge yourself in wonder." - Captain David

Even if you have been to Maui 100 times unless you have done this trip before you have not had this unique experience. Circumnavigate the island of Lanai and snorkel the backside like no other excursion. I saw fish I had never seen before and the reef seems to have been untouched by humans ever. The lava formations and sea caves were spectacular with Captain Dave getting us up close and personal. I personally enjoyed seeing shipwreck beach and learning the story behind it. The crews love for what they do is apparent with their knowledge not only of the waters and all the marine animals but also the legends and myths about the islands. The boats design really made for a comfortable trip especially when we got a little rain and they were able to put the windows down to keep us dry and believe it or not it actually has a bathroom on board.
They Provide a continental breakfast of fresh island fruit and homemade breads and a deli style lunch featuring turkey, ham tuna or veggie sandwiches, pasta salad, potato salad and veggies. They have a wide selection of beverages and additional snacks plus it is BYOB.
Overall this was one of my favorite snorkel trips I have ever done. Experience a part of Hawaii that less than 1% of all Maui visitors gets a chance to see. You won’t be sorry you did.Aloha & Mahalo
