Featuring 3 time world champion fire knife dancer Ifi So’o
Honua’ula takes us back to a time when the mighty seafaring Polynesians discovered this land of Hawai’i, thereafter calling themselves Hawaiian. It touches upon the documented voyages of La’amaikahiki and Moikeha who first came to this sacred island we call Maui, specifically this area named Honua’ula. It speaks of gods and goddesses that watched over these courageous people and how they were able to co-exist and live in harmony. These stories combined create an exciting evening of traditional chant and hula bringing the history of our island home Maui, to life. Hele Mai, come and enjoy the magical enchantment of Honua’ula.

Quicksilver AM Molokini & Turtle Town Snorkel Cruise and Dolphin Encounter

Retail Price $94.95 Our Price only $79.95!!! Guaranteed Best Price!

Check in 7:15 AM, Departure 7:45 AM, Return 1:15 PM daily from Maalaea Harbor Slip #103

You’re snorkeling adventure starts early and departs from Maalaea Harbor which is a short drive from both the Kihei/Wailea Resort area and the Kaanapali Resort area. The Quicksilver is a state of the art deluxe 55’ power catamaran. As you board the boat you are greeted by your friendly crew and captain. A hearty continental breakfast spread awaits you complete with Hawaiian pastries, local fruit, Kona coffee and assorted juices.

On the way from the harbor to Molokini Crater the crew outfits each quest with snorkeling equipment, including mask/snorkel, fins, and floatation if desired.

One of the reasons we love the Quicksilver so much is that it is one of the fastest rides to Molokini Crater. Since the Quicksilver is so fast more time is spent snorkeling and less time is spent getting to and from the snorkeling sites. The first snorkel site of the day, Molokini, is a a crescent shaped partially submerged volcanic crater. It is considered the best snorkeling site in the Hawaiian islands. It has been a marine preserve for over thirty years and is home to hundreds of species of fish and dozens of species of coral, many of them found only here in our Hawaiian waters. The underwater visibility is consistently over 150 feet.

Once at Molokini, the crew opens up the glass bottom viewing area and the water slide. If it is your first time snorkeling, or if it has just been a while, you’ll be happy to know that the Quicksilver specializes in first time snorkelers. The crew goes over the basics and will assist you with making sure your gear is comfortable and properly adjusted. They have noodles and boogie boards available for added piece of mind. Two lifeguards board Kayaks and keep an eye on the group for added safety.

After over an hour of snorkeling at Molokini Crater the crew blows the whistle and it is time to continue the adventure. For the next leg of the trip the you will explore the remote Kanaio Coast for an opportunity to view the wild spinner dolphins. The spinner dolphins ride the bow wakes of the boat and travel in large family groups often consising of over one hundred dolphins. Unfortunately the dolphins can be elusive and we’ve been out on days when they were no where in sight.

Your second snorkeling site of the day is Turtle Town. Unlike the elusive dolphins, you can count on swimming with lots of Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles. These guys are big, real big. Adults average over 400 pounds, but don’t worry they are vegetarians and only like to eat seaweed. They have seen plenty of snorkelers and they don’t seem to spooke easily so bring along an underwater camera for some amazing turtle photos.

You will have over an hour to snorkel with the turtles, abundant tropical fish and coral at Turtle Town. While there you will be served a mouthwatering BBQ lunch of cheese burgers, chicken breast burgers, and veggie burgers with all the fixings and salads, complete with a $1 cash bar for Mai Tais, and beer and wine.

For the ride back to the harbor the crew brings around chocolate chip cookies. For most folks we talk to this trip is one of the highlights of their vacation.

Book here online by clicking the add to cart button above, or call 1-855-4AUNTIE and Paul or Mark will answer and assist you with your reservation. Aloha.

Mahana Nai’a (Twin Dolphins) is a 58 foot long and 25 foot wide catamaran making for one stable open ocean vessel. She is one of the first to leave the harbor in the morning on her way to Molokini. We like this because it makes you feel like you have Molokini all to yourselves. On your way out to Molokini they serve up danish, muffins, fresh fruits and plenty of hot coffee and cold juices. They also get you fitted with all your snorkel gear and provide flotation aids and snorkel instructions to anyone that needs them. What really sets this trip apart is how attentive and fun the crew is and the fact that they don’t book the boat to capacity like many of the other tours. (Cattle Boats). This really helps the crew give individual service. After Molokini they head over to The Turtle Town area for a chance to swim with the Hawaiian green sea turtles (Honu). Last time I was on the trip my wife and I saw at least 7 turtles! One of my favorite things was hearing the Whales singing when I put my head under water. The Humpbacks are seasonal from December 15 thru May 15. After snorkeling with the turtles we had lunch which is deli style with ham, turkey, and roast beef, couple kinds of cheese and my favorite was the wasabi Mayonaise they had available. The mediterranean pasta salad was my wife’s favorite and of course we both enjoyed the macadamia nut cookies. Beer and wine was included after we were done snorkeling as well. With 25 years of experience and the small crowds Mahana Nai’a is a great choice for your snorkeling adventure.
Aloha & Mahalo

Seafire Molokini/Turtle Town AM Snorkeling

Time: 7:15 AM check in, 7:30-10:30 AM Location: Kihei Boat Ramp

You start your adventure at the Kihei Boat ramp where you will be greeted by Captain Don and his wife and first mate Vickie. Don is a Coastguardsman Captain and has been crusiing Hawaiian waters for 25 years. The boat is 39 feet long, but they only take a maximum of 22 people.

Your adventure begins a with fast ride to the crater. While many boats take over 45 minutes to get to Molokini, with Seafire you are there in 15 minutes. In that time Vickie will provide you with high quality sanitized snorkeling gear and floatation if desired. Prepare to be amazed by Molokini. It is one of the top ten dive spots in the world. The easiest way to visualize it is to imagine jumping into an aquarium. The visibility is over 150’ feet and the sea floor is a maze of coral reef and over 250 species of tropical fish call it home.

Whether you’re a newbie or a salty sea dog you will love Seafire. Newbies will love the personal attention, instruction and flotation devices provided and salty dogs will love the fact that with such a small group you get the maximum water time possible. No sitting around. The moment you are at Molokini you can get wet. No crowds slowing everything down. We love that First Mate Vickie dives in and gives a guided Molokini snorkeling tour where she points out all types of critters you might miss.

If you were looking for a tour with a gourmet meal you haven’t found it. You do get a nice snack on the way to your second snorkeling site of the day, Turtle Town. Turtle Town does not disappoint. You will swim with Hawaiian Green Turtles. For most people we talk to, swimming with the turtles is the highlight of their trip. In addition to turtles you will see abundant tropical reef and fish. After over an hour with the turtles it s just a short ride back to the harbor and since you are done by 10:30 AM you still have the entire day.

Kai Anela Molokini – Turtle Town – Dolphin Snorkel Excursion

Departs Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays 7:15 AM Check in at Maui Dive Outlet Shop in Kihei 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM trip time

On Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday we offer a 4-1/2 hour snorkeling trip to both Molokini and Turtle Town departing from the Kihei boat ramp at 8:00. Then to top it off, we go searching for Dolphins! (Or Whales during whale season -
Dec. 15th through April 15th).

All trips include use of dry snorkel sets and wetsuit tops or floatation devices. Shower off with a fresh, warm water shower.

Start out your day with Coffee, Soda, filtered Water, Canned Juices, Pastry Tray, and Sliced Fruit. Later on snack on Trail Mix, Fruit Nut Medley, Pub Mix, Pretzels & Granola Bars. Then top off the day with a Deli Lunch with Cold Cuts, Condiments, and Cookies!

Molokini is a marine reserve with spectacular water clarity and a pristine coral reef. Rated one of the best snorkeling spots in the world this reef has a variety of beautiful reef fish and animals. More than 400 varieties of fish are found in Hawaiian waters and more than 33% of these are endemic, they are found only here in Hawaii. Occasionally we see dolphins, whales, manta rays and Hawaiian monk seals.

Turtle Town offers a reef formed on lava that flowed from Haleakala centuries ago. The caverns and ledges in the lava as well as the lava fingers nearing the surface create the perfect habitat for sponges, corals, octopus, fish, eels, and shrimp. The highlight of this reef is the number of Green Sea Turtles that gather here to be “cleaned” by a fish known as the Hawaiian Cleaner Wrasse. The Green Sea Turtles are an endangered species and must not be touched or harassed. They are very curious animals and often allow snorkelers a good look from just a few feet away.

Kai Anela is a 32′ Snorkel Boat that takes up to 20 snorkelers out of Kihei Boat Ramp. It’s a V-Hull, twin-engine, jet driven vessel providing comfortable seating and amenities for a quick, safe, convenient ride to each location. Each boat is equipped with a marine head (bathroom), fresh water shower, padded seating, refreshments, and all necessary safety equipment. Minimum age is 4.

Knowledgeable crewmembers will provide onboard briefing to familiarize you with the boat, our equipment, and the spectacular marine life.

ALL TRIPS DEPART FROM KIHEI BOAT RAMP “KAI ANELA” (32 FT.)

Complimentary Transportation (Available from Kihei & Wailea Locations)
Leave the driving to us! Experience the comfort and ease of our limo van transportation service available from the Kihei and Wailea resort areas. Our deluxe eight passenger limo van will pick up and return you to your hotel or condo in style.

Book here online by clicking the add to cart button above, or call 1-855-4AUNTIE and Paul or Mark will answer and assist you with your reservation. Aloha.
